After just under eleven successful years as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PFERD TOOLS, Klaus Kasper is retiring. Effective 1 September 2026, his successor will be Dr Armin Küper, who was most recently Head of Global Manufacturing for the Hilti Group.
During his time as COO, Klaus Kasper was instrumental in driving forward PFERD TOOLS’ international outlook and automated production. Product innovations such as the CC-GRIND ROBUST and CC-GRIND VIEW grinding discs and the RCK drive system were also developed under his leadership.
“Klaus Kasper has played a pivotal role in how our company has developed over the past few years,” says CEO Jörn Bielenberg. “The introduction of new production technologies and the systematic and ongoing development of our production structures have been essential to us sharpening our competitive edge. The innovations that were developed under his leadership are now key USPs of our brand. We’d like to thank him most sincerely for his tremendous commitment and success and wish him all the very best for his retirement.”
In Dr Armin Küper, a proven expert in production and operation matters will be joining the PFERD TOOLS team. In his previous role at the Hilti Group he was responsible for global manufacturing. “We’re delighted to gain Dr Armin Küper as a new member of the PFERD TOOLS team. He has extensive knowledge of production matters and outstanding experience of product innovation, and he is an excellent fit for the values and culture of our family company. We firmly believe that he will provide significant impetus for the continued optimization of our production processes and the development of innovative high-performance products,” says Jörn Bielenberg.
By appointing a successor, PFERD TOOLS is confident that it is well-positioned to tackle future challenges and drive further growth.
