Description

For light cleaning and deburring work on threaded holes or recesses, e.g. keyways.

Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are ideal for work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications.

Steel wire is temperature-resistant up to 600°F.

Advantages
  • Highly flexible, enabling optimal adaptation to the workpiece contour.
  • Longer service life due to the design of the stem.
  • In tube brushes with a short eyelet, the filament reaches up to the tip of the brush.
  • The bent end of the wire does not have any sharp edges, which prevents delicate surfaces from getting scratched.
  • Long service life through use of PFERD special wire.
  • Creates fine surfaces.
Recommendations for use
  • Please observe the recommended rotational speeds.
  • Use with clockwise rotation.
Safety notes
  • For safe use, guide the brush into the workpiece before beginning work.
  • When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This especially applies to high rotational speed ranges. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
